My Journey with Rottweilers

My love for dogs began with Huskies and German Shepherds. I was a breeder focused on these intelligent, high-energy working breeds, and I loved everything about the process—from caring for the puppies to finding the perfect homes for them. But everything changed when I met my husband. His parents owned a full-blooded German Rottweiler, and I was immediately drawn to the breed’s calm presence, confidence, and unwavering loyalty. It wasn’t long before I fell completely in love with Rottweilers.

A little over a year ago, my husband gave me one of the best gifts I’ve ever received: a Rottweiler puppy we named Diesel. From the moment Diesel entered our lives, I knew I had found my heart breed. German Rottweilers are truly remarkable—they are intelligent, devoted, protective, and eager to please. They thrive on structure, affection, and purpose. What sets them apart from other breeds is their deep bond with their humans. They don’t just want to be near you—they need to be by your side, as a true companion and guardian.
